The Harne-Käragal-kî, the Parabel flows from the Baraban boglands. Because, at the mouth of the river, there is a Russian village called Harpe=kara, kräk=village.

The Ket falls into the Ob by Narym itself. 50 versts up the river there is a large Russian village– after that, only the Ostyak [settlement of] Maksimkin.

The Jar is around 500 versts from Narym with a church and some Ostyaks – no Russians. Low banks, framed with mountains on the right side – moors – villages on the side. Endless numbers of small tributaries. The largest are

1) the Lieitsa (Lokkesk), from the northern (Tim) side, which flows into the Ket along its lower course;

2) the Orlow, from the same side. Maksimkin on this side;

3) the Ozerskaja (Kal=do), immediately after Maksimkin, from the northern side.
