Translation
(41-1) There was a mad man among the Evens called Elizar.
(41-2) He killed all his family and the reindeer.
(41-3) When the other people came, they saw that he was walking around having destroyed his house.
(41-4) He walked alone in the forest.
(41-5) They wanted to take him but couldn't. He ran away.
(41-6) After he ran away, they looked for him, but didn't find him.
(41-7) The next year they looked in Argaa-Taas, and there was a man there.
(41-8) They brought him and tied him to the tree, but he died.
(41-9) They put him in a box.
(41-10) The next day the side panel of the box flew aside.
(41-11) They saw that he had grown as much as twenty centimetres.
(41-12) The next night he broke those panels again.
(41-13) He grew another twenty centimetres.
(41-14) Then they threw away that box.
(41-15) They made a new one half a meter longer.
(41-16) They went to the forest, closed it and abandoned it there.
(41-17) They made a wooden top for the box.
(41-18) The next year they came. That top had lengthened very much.
(41-19) They buried it.
(41-20) They saw that the man had become very long.
(41-21) They thought why it had happened.
(41-22) The old men said: "Don't go there."
